本課程為教導學生了解計算機的結構與組織、資料於計算機中的儲存及表達方式、作業系統簡介、應用軟體簡介與使用、電腦網路及網際網路概論、及計算機與我們生活的關係，由充分學習計算機之硬體及軟體的中，從而能更運用計算機於我們專業的領域。
