■  課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents)
本授業は人々が日常生活で用いることば（言語）に着目し、人間や社会との関わりについて社会言語学の視点から検討することを目的とする。まず、文献講読や映像視聴を通して、日本語の多様性を理解するとともに、日本語と日本社会との関係について考えることができるようになる。また、日本社会の言語的な多元性を踏まえ、教室外でのフィールドワークを行い、台湾における言語の現状を観察し、台湾の言語と社会の関連性を分析・考察できるようになる。さらに、ディスカッション及びグループ発表を重視し、それらの活動を通して、自分の考えを表現する能力を身につける。

■  學習活動與作業說明 (Learning Activities and Assignments)
【学習活動】授業中に扱ったトピックについて理解を深めるため、グループディスカッションを行う。また、日本社会における言語現象をもとに、台湾社会の言語状況についてグループによる現場調査、データ分析、調査報告を行う。さらに、授業時間の内外において主体的・協働的に課題の発見・解決に取り組むことが期待される。
【自主学習】関連文献を読み、トピックについて深く考えていく。
【予習・復習】授業後（不定期）、全員は内容を見直し、感想や意見等をまとめて提出する。発表者はレジュメを作成して全員に配る。発表に当たっていない者は質問や意見、感想を述べる。

■  課程其他要求 (Other Requirements)
1. 履修者（履修したい者を含む）は必ず第１回目のゼミに出席する。
2. 教師、グループ仲間と双方向コミュニケーションをとる。
3. 能動的な姿勢で授業活動に参加する。
4. 出席と欠席の取扱について：（a）事前または欠席後１週間以内、医者の診断書等の公的書類を提出していない場合は欠席扱いとなる。（b）理由にもよるが、6回以上欠席の場合は成績が不合格となる。
